Jose Cuervo wanted to align with the traditional Mexican Day of the Dead holiday as perfect occasion to enjoy Jose Cuervo tequila all over the world. There is something quintessentially Mexican about these annual celebrations on the 2nd and 3rd of November with the distinct sugar skulls and the decorative festival feel. This event is already has strong links to tequila but Jose Cuervo wanted to leverage this occasion by creating global branded experiences running simultaneously at a time when it is believed the dead rise again to dance and party with the living.
At Boys and Girls the activation team created a global tool kit for Asian and European markets to promote this highly spirited occasion. Creating outdoor and press assets as-well as on and off trade collateral and event activation kits with a vast array of assets content and merchendise. We also commissioned a SnapChat filter to sugar skull your face.
Always on social media for Jose Cuervo meant we were always creating disruptive and entertaining content that encouraged shares.
